Courage Isn't The Absence of Fear; Courage Is The Mastery Of Fear.

Last week, I went to Florida. It was lots of fun, heat, humidity and etc.( I met another 16yr. old girl who goes by Brie, as well. It was so funny, me:"bye Brie" her:"bye Brie" :D ) Originally, I was dreading going to Florida. I had nothing against the state but getting there was a problem. It was a five hour flight and flying scared the daylights out of me. Not only would the plane fall out of the sky , I feared, I being tired and stressed, would have the world's largest panic attack to ever culminate into a heart attack once we hit a patch of turbulence. Fortunately, a week before the flight I found a website about the fear of flying. It explains stress, panic attacks, how to avoid them, why they won't culminate into a heart attack, everything about planes, safety checks, turbulence, and the truth about plane crashes. After reading the lessons, I felt so silly. I would rather drive to Florida than fly when driving is many many many times more dangerous than flying. Also, I felt relieved. There is no such thing as air pockets. Turbulence is the equivalent of waves or bumps in a road. Planes take them better than boats and cars, though. Even during severe turbulence a cup of water on a tray won't spill. Anyways, here is the link for that fantastic website. Fear of Flying Help Last Thing: conquering fears is so liberating. Fear of flying kept my dream of living in Europe distant for me. Now I feel it is so much more reachable.
Much thanks for reading. Many many hugs and warm feelings. :)

Posts inspired by interesting stuff in the English section of my SAT Prep book are coming. This post was a quickie "no I'm not unconscious in a hospital" post. Lol Much love.
