Theres Nothing Left To Talk About But There's Plenty Left To Do

Soon IL get the go from my parents to wear make-up. I'm so excited I feel so juvenile. Anyways, in a way I'm glad they made me wait. If I would've got make-up rights earlier like 3 yrs ago, there would've been a facial monster on the loose. Now that we waited until I'm older and into the make-up looks of  Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie and Zooey Deschanel, my taste is alot more subdued,non-freakish. Aka cat eyeliner ,red lipstick, minimal blush, no detectable foundation and colored nail polish. . Even though that has definitely been on my mind that isn't the only thing, of course. Today Ive been thinking of my 5 favorite activities and how I can squeeze them into about 36 hours. Ballet, piano, reading(thinking about a history book on the lines of 1491, or Guns Germs and Steel), bike riding and one of my favorite places, the Getty Museum. Also, I can't wait to see Steve Myers Weekend Update on Snl tonight. They always make my crack up laughing.

Last thing before I go get some real post inspiration;) This week's favorite song, Waiting for a War by The Morning Benders. The best lyrics in  this song are , the post title,and " Talk is cheap but lies are even cheaper still." The song and video are really poignant especially when a graveyard shows up next to his cubicle. I love so many of the Morning benders songs and videos, so they might show up a couple times on emmaspicnic. Anywhoos, many thanks for reading. and Many many hugs and warm feelings. :)
